.: TiVo is finally really available in Canada, with the announcement that at least one of the TiVo DVRs is available at a number of Canadian retailers. I think it’s time to consider buying that wide-screen tv as well.

I love my 42in plasma TV.

Isn’t that 42 inches what really makes you feel like a man. You want to get a plasma if you can, they have better contrast ratio and handle movement better too. LCD is ok. We have some 46 inch LCD’s in the lunchrooms and they just aren’t as nice as my Dell. I don’t care for TIVO but i don’t seem to watch that many shows so i don’t feel i need to have it. I’d rather buy the good series once they are out on dvd and watch with no commercials.

I personally prefer the new lcd tv’s with the 120 cycle,and 1080p. You have seen my old 57″ crt tv, I still love it and it’s picture after almost 5 years of having it. It is not as bright as the other types, but in some ways I think it has a better picture. These are not available anymore though.
