   Seems to me the executives profit taking at Enron could and should be expropriated and a pension fund established for the unfortunate souls who lost 401K investment and now have to look forward to a diminished retirement. This is one case for proceeds of crime to go to victims, not ’’scum sucking lawyers’’ read government!!

   Interesting idea, and worthwhile. Coincidentally, I’m at a pre-retirement workshop on campus today, and across the floor is a two day conference on accounting practices in view of recent incidents of corporate greed and fraud, such as Enron and Worldcom.
