:: It’s early in the morning, June 28, 2004. I was born on June 28, 1953, at 1:05 am, Central Time, in Winnipeg. I don’t know if daylight savings time was in effect that year. No matter. I celebrate my 51st birthday today. It’s also the day of our federal election, in which Canadians will, most likely, elect a minority government.
Whatever. 51. And I still feel like a kid. Happy Birthday to me! 🙂

What an absolute joy it is to wish you dearest Randy, the HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY! Of course this has nothing to do with the fact that I am your MOTHER. As always you are wished the best that life has to offer for no one deserves it more than you. You make us proud to be your parents, and proud we are. God bless you Randy and we will celebrate this birthday when you arrive home here on Friday. We can hardly wait to see you.

Happy Birthday Randy!
From my desk in the depths of “The Collector” story deptmt. I enjoy reading your blog when I get the chance to surf — as opposed to seriously searching some of the weird stuff we have to look at on this show….
It’s amazing to me that we’re all getting up there in age… as someone with a 3 year old I hesitate to EVER admit my age.

BTW My episode “The Ufologist” is going to be shot in the next couple of weeks – Bruce Macdonald (who directed Hard Core Logo among other celebrated CDN films) is the director. I’m very pleased with that.
He seems like a very good director and a nice person.
